Oriental Brighton

The Oriental is a boutique hotel in Brighton that combines history, luxury and affordability in a pretty little package that saw us voted by the Sunday Times as one of the world’s best city hotels that you can stay at for under £100.

Why not see what all the fuss is about for yourself? You will be joining the likes of Boy George, Norman Cook, Howard Marks and Sadé, who have all enjoyed the comforts and pleasures of one of the most unique boutique hotels Brighton can offer.

The Oriental was refurbished recently in 2008, but it remains an AA 4-star hotel housed in a Grade 2 Listed Regency building.

We pride ourselves on being a boutique hotel that is as unpretentious, relaxed and unfussy as Brighton itself. Although we are no longer home to the legendary Brighton Belle nightclub, you can still easily reach other naughty-but-nice treats that Brighton has to offer. From the Oriental Brighton city centre is just a 5-minute amble away, and it is a mere 40 yards to the seafront. You can enjoy the beach, the iconic Brighton Pier, the Royal Pavilion, the Brighton Conference Centre and the Laines shopping spots, before heading back to your retro-romantic room with its trademark oriental influences.

With bed and breakfast rates starting from just £55 a night, you will get so much more bang for your buck than at a standard seaside B&B! All rooms have walk-in showers, LCD TVs, DVD players, freeview, Wi-Fi, desk space and luxurious oriental silk headboards. Our luxury rooms allow you to decadently indulge in an en-suite spa bath – so why not pamper yourself?

The Oriental is a boutique hotel with real soul, character and history. We look forward to welcoming you to Brighton.
