Orifunke Lawal

Orifunke Lawal has always been passionate about helping people know more and be more. She grew up being an avid consumer of knowledge, always wanting to learn more so that she could change the trajectory of people's lives by impacting them.

A visionary and pioneer by nature, Orifunke sees the unusual opportunities for learning everywhere and seeks opportunities to create systems that help people grow effectively with supervision and accountability.

In 2018, she founded Lady with Balls, one of the biggest, fastest-growing and people-focused non-governmental communities of ladies currently based in Nigeria. As founder and director, she oversees campaigns and operations that push the organization forward towards achieving her goals. She leads a direct team of seven others. In two to three years, the organization has grown into over 200 in-community members and many more who actively follow the vision and show up online and for organizational activities.

In 2020, she founded the Orifunke Lawal Academy where she and her team organize certification courses and programs to help business owners, personal brands and career professionals gain more visibility, build more authority and make more money. The academy currently runs three programs; The Canva Growth Program (CGP), the Content Creation and Marketing course (CCM) and the Young Professionals' Advancement Program (YPAP). So far, more than 163 individuals have graduated from programs by the academy.

Working with Legalbox NG, Orifunke brings her experience in marketing and branding communications and oversees marketing efforts focused on building brand awareness, generating traffic and influencing customer acquisition.

Orifunke has facilitated numerous speaking and teaching sessions around personal development, career growth, marketing, business development, Search Engine Optimization, women empowerment, personal branding, to mention a few. She is skilled at branding and corporate communications, social media management, content marketing, brand management, non-profit leadership, community building and she has valid experience in the Fashion, E-commerce, Financial, Legal-Tech and Education sectors.

She is passionate about people, progress and profit and she is open to networking and leadership opportunities and events directly involving young women and professionals. She has also written and published three ebooks; The Art of Social Writing, 25 for 25: A Memoir and WhatsApp Blast.
