Please allow me to make this short and quick, as there is lots, if interested, elsewhere all about who I am.

But for purposes here, please allow me to be clear of where I am coming from as the creator of OurBridgeport.wordpress.com

What i wanted for our nation during my campaign for US President during Election 2008, and still expect for us as a nation, for the state of Connecticut and for Bridgeport, is for us all to hold dear five fundamental principles.

Our personal value systems need not conflict with these as these principles are something that sustanable value systems are fundamentally based on.

The principles are: Transparent and accountable government in order to be cost effective in serving the people; the dignity of human rights in how we regard each other; balanced trade with foreign nations that achieves fair parity based on volume; economic solvency to assure our national security; and workable foreign policy that mitigates the outlook of 'imminent domain through manifest destiny' that is far more workable with our world neighbors based on standards of mutual respect.

For Our Bridgeport, as these same principles for me hold true. I duly expect and commit to the objective for Bridgeport's government to be held to a standard based on these five principles; and in doing so, let Our Bridgeport be the example for Connecticut, other towns, cities, and states of our great nation to want to align with.
