Hi there! I'm Orna, a passionate cook who lives in Kenya (since 1987) with over 40 years in the food and catering industry. I love creating and sharing fun, healthy and delicious meals for my family, friends and fellow diners.

I created and successfully ran my own restaurant, "Orna's Restaurant and Patisserie", at ABC Place in Nairobi from 1993-2002. Since then I catered and consulted for clients such as Coca Cola (East Africa), Fairview Hotel, Serena Hotels, Dormans and the French Embassy of Nairobi. I've designed new restaurant concepts and menus, trained several hotel kitchen pastry departments and catered for over 500 school children and staff on a daily basis with unique menus for every day of the month.

Now I have returned to doing what I love most: teaching and passing onto others (home cooks, amateurs and professionals alike) the knowledge that I've learned on how to cook, bake and re-create healthy, tasty and authentic dishes from just about any cuisine in the world.
