About Me.
I am an emerging museum professional. My museum interest, as a career, started at California State University Chico, where I was given wonderful opportunity to lean and work at the Valene L. Smith Museum of Anthropology and the Heritage Resources Conservation Laboratory. I enjoy working with collections, from conservation to exhibits. Museums are wonderful venues to engage visitors in conversations with objects on exhibit and each other, in order to build connections and bring people together across time and space. I am interested in participating in this dialog through collections management.
I am currently a graduate student in John F. Kennedy University Museum Studies Program, specializing in Collections Management and building my leadership skills with student government.
I am now the new Collections Assistant at the San Francsico Museum and Historical Society at the Mint. We are moving in a very positive direction and I am proud to be a part of the team.
My personal interests include: traveling, sculpture, maritime archaeology, Peruvian archaeology, and modern art.
Together we can create powerful, positive change!
