Orson Kirton

Orson Kirton has served New York City's Metropolitan Transit Authority as a Train Operator for 12 years. Prior to this position, he worked as a Courier for the Federal Express, where he delivered parcels to the airport. Mr. Kirton has considerable supervisory experience as well, having overseen the day-to-day activities of Fulton City Sports in Brooklyn for more than two years. He holds an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, New York.

Outside of work, Orson Kirton spends his free time playing and watching soccer. He exercises on a daily basis and is an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. A native of Barbados, he enjoys traveling to his home country and to locations in the United States, Aruba, Costa Rica, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and the Virgin Islands. He has participated in a number of charity events, including a 2009 event benefiting the Brooklyn Homeless Shelter and a 2011 fundraiser that collected toys and school supplies for area children.
