Osaka Japanese Bistro

Las Vegas, NV

Owned and operated by the second generation of the Nakanishi family, Osaka Japanese Bistro has been recognized as one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants in Nevada. Osaka Japanese Bistro was founded in 1967 in Las Vegas, and the business has grown to include a second restaurant in Henderson. It is the only Japanese restaurant outside of Japan considered one of the 50 Best Japanese Restaurants by Japan's largest weekly magazine, Asahi Shukan.

Both Osaka locations feature three different dining experiences under one roof, the Sushi Bar, the Teppanyaki Grill, and the Tatami Rooms. At the Sushi Bar, guests can enjoy a full view of their sushi dinner being exquisitely hand prepared, while the Teppanyaki Grill serves up sizzling meats and vegetables from iron griddles. The Tatami Rooms are traditional dining rooms, perfect for large parties and special events.

If guests are interested in hosting their own events, Osaka also offers catering services. The restaurant creates and delivers portable sushi bar stations, each accompanied by a chef. Every item is made with the same quality and attention as in the restaurant. For exceptionally large events, the restaurant provides wholesale banquet- and buffet-style sushi, all hand-prepared. The company's production kitchen is able to respond to sushi orders for as many as 20,000 pieces within a day's notice. In addition, Osaka practices Nyotaimori, the ancient art of "body sushi," through their affiliate company, Sushi Entertainment Group.

Routinely carrying more varieties of fish than most sushi bars in the area, the restaurant also offers seasonal specials featuring exotic items typically found only in Japan. Osaka continues to build on its reputation as the premier Japanese restaurant in Nevada by serving top-notch food in a serene atmosphere.
