Most of Osama's experience in the filmmaking industry has been gained through hands-on experience. In 2006, he worked with Al-Majd Gate, a production agency, as a professional producer. In this capacity he produced numerous advertisements. In 2007, he shifted toward documentary film and began production of "The Truth," produced by Majal, which eventually went on to win national and international awards. At the end of the same year, he became an Executive Producer for Al-Jazeera Documentary Channel. Because Film production is so restrictive in Saudi Arabia, where Osama from, and because the U.S. is the biggest marketplace for Film and entertainment, he has chosen to study in the United States specifically in Hollywood. The New York Film Academy (NYFA,) where Osama earned the master’s degree in Film and Media Production, highly ranked, and it is a dream for a lot of Americans Filmmakers. With working between Hollywood and Saudi Arabia in making making movies has both side culture and spirits, Osama intend to build a bridge between Middle Eastern culture and Western culture to develop understanding and respect for each other. He aspires to reach a large audience, both Western and Middle Eastern, in multimedia formats.
