Representing the small, rural community of Round Hill, Alberta, I now work for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Specifically, I am part of the Community Youth Challenge-a program to promote The Award in rural, remote, and Aboriginal communities, in partnership with the RCMP. I work with communities to develop a program that meets their goals, facilitate trainings with local leaders, and help participants to achieve their Awards.

Who can join The Award? Any person aged 14-25 who is interested in challenging themselves to complete personal goals in four areas: physical recreation, skill development, community service, and wilderness adventure. Based on experiential learning, The Award recognizes youth for their involvement in extra-curricular activities.

Outside of work, I am interested in travel, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
