Biography
Osiris Valdés López, born on March 15, 1989, in Havana, Cuba, to a Cuban father and a Spanish mother, is a renowned Cuban-Spanish writer, activist, and entrepreneur. From an early age, her life was marked by art and culture, taking dance and art classes, and studying dramatic arts at the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television under the guidance of actress Eslinda Núñez.
Her passion for human rights and inclusion has led her to become an active advocate for gender equality and sexual diversity. These causes have inspired both her books and her awareness campaigns, establishing her as an influential figure in the literary and social spheres.
In 2009, Osiris moved to Spain, where she lived until 2022 and developed a significant part of her literary career. During this period, she also became the mother of Sammy Valdés, born in Mallorca on January 17, 2014. In 2022, she began a new chapter of her life in Chicago, United States, where she continues to expand her influence as a writer, journalist, and entrepreneur.
Since 2019, she has contributed as a cultural journalist to various digital platforms, publishing columns and interviews with prominent artists in the fields of music and literature. Her unique perspective and sensitivity have made her work a point of reference in the cultural realm.
