I was born in Krakow (Poland), where I lived until I turned 17. Thanks to my passion for foreign languages, I won a bilingual translation competition in French and Polish, which enabled me to study at the European High School in Dijon.
After receiving my Baccalaureate with high honours in the science section, I decided to apply for law studies in Lyon (France) at the Université Lumières Lyon 2. I studied French and Spanish law in both languages. During my third year of studies, as part of the ERASMUS exchange programme, I moved to Barcelona (Spain) to study at the Universitat de Barcelona.
During the year spent at the Spanish law faculty, I have discovered my new passion - diplomacy. To pursue this fascinating topic, I attended many seminars related to geopolitics, international relations, human rights and international law.
After receiving my Bachelor's degree with honours, I decided to further develop my knowledge in the field of international relations, international law and diplomacy. In 2013, I started my Master's degree in International and European Law at the Université d'Aix-Marseille in the South of France. Its programme allowed me to deepen my understanding of international law and the practice of international organizations. As a member of the Human Rights association, I took part in a competition called René Cassin moot court, simulating a case of the European Court of Human Rights.
In June 2014, I worked as a Legal Intern at The Halina Nieć Legal Aid Center, an NGO working for the UNHCR and dealing with refugees, who come to Poland. I was responsible for the research on the European Directive nº2008/115/EC about refugees’ status and their forced returns.
