I love my job!! Yes, even though that may be hard to say nowadays, I really do like my work.
We are in a changing world, technology makes us evolve more quickly, and if one wants to be on top of things, you have to be aware, get out of your comfort level. I continuously search for new areas where I can put my knowledge into practice and turn the experience into something enriching.
I am inspired by my job, by the interaction with my colleagues, particularly when we overcome difficult challenges together through our group work. I like the task of managing coworkers, make a team, working and inspiring others to work. Be a leader? Why not? The leader must be more aware, more awake, more humble and helpful, more responsible, more selfless. However, good teamwork and integrity when facing challenging problems encourage and comfort a leader. Who mentioned fear?
For me, having started in my field from the very bottom and having gone up through all levels overcoming obstacles, and ending up leading a team is very comforting, I would say it is part of my persevering nature. On the way there I have also witnessed instances of bad practices, managing mistakes, bad methods being applied, lack of a human touch in the work environment and more. With time one learns from his mistakes, overcomes challenges through sometimes titanic efforts, in the end accomplishing optimal results, for which one is praised and thankful, since they correspond to a good job and effort. Everything stays, every little bump on the road affects you, all of the people who surround me are the fellow protagonists in the show that is my life. Which brings me to today. Is it all over? Definitely not, a lot is still in the making for us to give and to receive. I am open to everything, I am still looking for challenging proposals, I am eager for much more, my thirst for new ideas is still on the loose.
