I've spent the last few years visiting Britain's museums—not just the obvious ones, but the peculiar village collections, the specialist archives, and the industrial sites where you can still smell the coal dust.

Started with the Science Museum's industrial galleries (turbines and steam engines—still mesmerising), then wandered into Sir John Soane's Museum by accident. That labyrinthine townhouse changed everything. Suddenly, I was seeking out Dennis Severs' House, Dr. Johnson's actual writing desk, the Horniman's overstuffed walrus. You see where this is going.

Turns out Britain has over 3,000 museums, and most people only know about twelve of them.

So I built MuseumsUK.com - a directory that actually covers the small local history societies, the eccentric private collections, and the volunteer-run heritage centres that only open on Thursday afternoons.

Backgrounds in business analysis and web development (MBA, technical skills in database management and SEO), but this project is pure curiosity-driven. Also a Precision Nutrition certified coach, though that's less relevant unless you're planning museum visits around good lunch spots.
