Carmen Ostermann

Carmen Ostermann is currently a full time student teacher and student in the Fine Arts and Art Education program in DAAP at the University of Cincinnati. She is focusing on sculpture as her main medium and has been on the Deans List at the University of Cincinnati in all four years that she has studied. In 2008 she received the Marjory Stowe Scholarship for Fine Arts Students. She was selected as one of the top Freshman Fine Arts students in 2010 and was awarded with the Sophomore Award of Excellence Scholarship in Fine Arts in 2012. Carmen received the International Sculpture Conference Travel Scholarship to Chicago in October of 2012. In the summer of 2013 she was sponsored through the Wolfstien Scholarship to travel to Frankfurt, Germany and study at the Darmstadt University of Technology for seven weeks. Carmen is a Canadian and American citizen and spent six years of her childhood growing up in Japan and the Philippines.
