My interest in PR came about during my first four years

studying Business in Cork Institute of Technology.

After graduating with a degree in Marketing,

I realised I was passionate about communications

so continued on my studies and graudated in 2010

with an MA in PR and New Media.

My areas of interest include PR 2.0, Social Media,

Media Relations, Entertainment PR and Fashion PR.

I decided to combine my interest in these areas and

wrote my thesis on "The Impact of Social Media on the

Celebrity Industry: A PR Perspective".

Throughout my course work I became proficient in the use of social media tools such as blogging,social networking and podcasting. I have the ability to pitch PR campaigns and presentations to a professional standard along with writing press releases and producing reports.

My course has provided me with a broad skills set for the PR profession and I hope to combine my interest in Entertainment, Fashion and Media to set about for a career within these areas.
