Carolina Otero

Carolina Otero & The Someone Elses got together in the Summer of 2009. The band comprises of singer-songwriter and rhythm guitarist Carolina Otero and other musicians that accompany her. Although a relatively young project, they have been successful in various competitions (Contraindicanciones in the Contraclub in Madrid Nov 2009, winners of Factory Music, Alcoy 2010 and runners-up in Troglogló in La Caverna, Valencia).

Together are making an impact on the local and national alternative rock scene. Their widely acclaimed début record was Give Me Your Shoes, released in Mexico on Antardida Records in 2011.

In a relatively short period of time the band have produced an original and solid sound accompanied by very powerful live performances. Here are some examples of what has been said about The Someone Elses:
