I am a student, and pre service mathematics, english and natural sciences teacher, currently living in Protea North, South Africa. My interests range from swimming to travel. I am also interested in food, baking, and DIY. We've always been told to do what we love, and teaching is what I love to do, I decided to study for a bachelors degree in education not only because of my love for it but the change I get to make in the lives of thousands of children. Using every tool I have in my disposal to ensure equal opportunities for all learners in an affordable way is the vision I have for my teaching career, using the media platform, I want to find creative ways of experimenting on all types of material that one can find in their surroundings, and use those material to make different crafts and scientific experiments so that despite a learner's economic standard or a school financial situation, every learner has an opportunity to get involved in their learning through using their hands and also allowing there to be more interaction amongst learners and should not feel ashamed of not having the same academic experiences as others e.g making volcanos and other DIY school activities. Hopefully through its success, inspire other teachers as well to think outside the box in anyway they can to help better teaching and learning experiences even if it's not projects or arts and crafts.
