Hi, I’m R. Joe. I am an entrepreneur, angel investor, author, and thought leader in the areas of leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation. I am the Founder of the iinnovate Leadership Network, a peer CEO network for tech entrepreneurs scaling their businesses.

In addition, as an author, I have published two books: iInnovate- a guide for engaging in the innovation economy, and Beyond Success: Building a Personal, Financial and Philanthropic Legacy (McGraw Hill, 2008), as well as numerous papers and articles that have appeared in Forbes, Chief Executive Magazine, The Financial Times, Worth Magazine, Stanford Center for Social Innovation, among others.

Prior to founding iinnovate, I had an 18-year technology career working for top technology companies, followed by 6 years as a co-founder of Kotter International, where, along with Harvard Business School professor, John Kotter, he helped to grow the firm to international prominence by advising companies on how best to accelerate innovation and strategic change.

I have an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a B.A. from Cornell University. In addition, I am a member of Young President’s Organization where I am an Innovation Fellow. I am passionate about improving companies, communities and lives through innovation. I live in Seattle, WA with my wife and have three grown children.
