A New York-based entrepreneur in the technology industry, Otwan J. Lowery prepared for his career by earning a bachelor's degree in accounting from Babson College. Upon graduating, Otwan J. Lowery took on a position at the PricewaterhouseCoopers professional services firm. He attained the title of Certified Public Accountant and furnished consulting and tax compliance to US foreign nationals and international companies.
Following this position, he served as a tax senior at Deloitte Tax. In this role, his responsibilities included assisting international companies with individual state and federal tax returns and requirements for computing gross up tax data and payroll reporting.
In 2018, Otwan Lowery founded PreciseGrants, a company providing technology-based solutions for grant and budget procedures for nonprofits. As CEO, he manages financial responsibilities and recruits and on-boards personnel to achieve growth objectives. He oversees the development of software to facilitate faster grant reporting and help nonprofits meet compliance requirements. Additionally, his passion for working in the nonprofit sector led him to co-found the PreciseImpact nonprofit organization in 2020. Today, Mr. Lowery serves as a board member for the nonprofit.
