Dane's Events

Founder

Beginning in 2021, the program was founded by Dane Dyer in association with the Garlands Primary School. Dane Dyer was a Student Leaver Trainee Opportunity Program (SLTOP) apprentice, he started working at the Garlands Primary School on November 02, 2021. During his time he developed the Spelling Bee Competition which is now known as the Garlands Primary School Annual Spelling Bee Competition (GPSSB). He pathways with the school on September 1, 2022, however his vision for the competition was to make it an annual event that will capture the attention of the students. In 2023, Mr. Dyer added an addition of four events to his program namely:

Alexia Singing Competition
Geo Bee Competition
Mia & Sassy Dancing Competition
The Art Competition.

These competitions were dedicated to his former co-workers/partners. These programs were created In August and were expected to launch in the upcoming academic year 2023-2024. However, Mr. Dyer started his studies at The Mico University College in September 2023, which acted as a setback, delaying the launch of these programs.
