Oussema Khamessi (PhD) is a Assistant Professor fellow at ISBST, Researcher at Pasteur Institute of Tunis, data scientist and Trainer in bioinformatics. His PhD work implies the study of anti-cancer peptides based on biomolecular simulation, molecular docking, drug design, molecular dynamics, peptidomimetics in cancer targeting and molecular modeling jointly with in vitro and in vivo assays.

He currently holds an international patentfor a Anti-cancer and Disintegrin scorpion venoms. He has been a teacher in several bioinformatics courses and conferences .
Oussema is also one of the founding members of the Tunisian Association for Computational Sciences (TACoS). He is a key memberof the PHINDaccess and Genome Tunisiateam and co-coordinator of the Bioinformatic Master Degree at the Pasteur Institute of Tunis.
