Nigel & Jackie Heptinstall

Hi,I'm Nigel Heptinstall and I was until getting sacked in September 2015 The Outdoors Correspondent for The Ackrills group of newspapers which serves Harrogate, Knaresborough Nidderdale, Ripon and Wetherby. I used to write a column championing wildlife and environment issues. This blog is a replacement because so many folk were upset at my exclusion from the local paper and I felt obliged to provide a replacement. I hope to talk about wildlife, archaeology and the environment and look forward very much to receiving contributions, emails and/or photos from you. Let's show our enjoyment and support for wildlife.
