I don't know about you, but I am the kind person who will obsess for hours on end when trying to come up with a thoughtful gift. I always Google for gift ideas when an occasion presents iteself to buy a gift, and I'm always disappointed by the gift guides I find that highlight things I would never want anyone to give me. I'm not a fan of mass consumerism, so you won't find me at the mall the week before Christmas buying the current trends that are sure to collect dust in a few months. I prefer handmade gifts, but I also appreciate mass-produced gifts as long as they're given thought and are unique. I put a lot of time into coming up with gift ideas, so I'd like to share what I've found with all of you! On my blog, you'll find a combination of do-it-yourself gift ideas, items handmade by others and mass-produced items that actually kind of rock.

When I'm not obsessing over gifts, you can find me cooking, gardening, remodeling my house, exercising, and watching football. Most of the time I'm probably just whispering sweet nothings to my dog, Max.
