Ade Adeniji
Consultant, Facilitator, and Coach in England, United Kingdom
I am a Coach, Group Facilitator, Organisational Consultant, Mediator and Storyteller. I am also a Certified Daring Way™️ and Dare to Lead™️ Facilitator (based on the research of Dr Brené Brown).
I have always been drawn to what lies beneath the surface of our day-to-day lives; that search took me down many paths, and In 2002 it led me to The Interfaith Seminary. In 2004, I was ordained as an Interfaith Minister and Spiritual Counsellor.
I am co-founder of The Quest, a UK-based Social Enterprise that delivers workshops, coaching and personal development events for Gay Men.
I co-authored the anthology "Love Me As I Am: gay men reflect on their lives" and contributed to the anthology "Black and Gay in the UK".
I have over 20 years’ experience in human resources and personal development, spanning the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. I was Human Resources Director with Liberty Global Europe, a digital media company, with responsibility for the UK, Netherlands, Spain and Central Europe. Prior to that, I was Head of Human Resources with Guardian News and Media Ltd. I have held other HR roles with ITV, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Cabinet Office and the Government Legal Service.
As a practitioner, I adopt a holistic approach to all aspects of my practice, this involves working with individuals, teams and organisations to help make the implicit explicit, with a view to creating space for conscious courageous conversations. I am well versed in developing relationships and putting clients at ease, allowing them to enter a vulnerable space that facilitates empathy and transformation.
I divide my time between London and Amsterdam.
