Owami Mvelase

I am a third year Bachelor of Education student at the University of Johannesburg, specializing in Senior Phase and FET teaching with majors in IsiZulu and History. Enthusiastic about inclusive education and dedicated to empowering learners through historical knowledge and language. My interests includes using digital tools to enhance teaching and learning. Assisting learners build confidence and independence also, creating a safe teaching and learning environment.

I am a dedicated student who values being a good listener and continuously learning from others, including the learners I teach. My goal is to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives, as contributing to their growth empowers me in return. I thrive in collaborative environments, consistently putting in extra effort, exceeding expectations, and adapting to diverse contexts. I am committed to improving my teaching practice, embracing new skills, and gaining experiences that enhance both my career and personal growth.
