Hello,
I am Owen Igakuboon Adasi, a results-driven public health expert and academic professional passionate about improving health outcomes through strategic promotion, communication, research, and digital innovation.
Currently serving as Principal Health Promotion Officer at the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Health (since February 2023), I lead the design and implementation of impactful state-wide health programs focused on disease prevention, behavioral change, and community wellness.
Simultaneously, I serve as Admission Officer and Lecturer at the College of Health Technology, Etinan, where I manage student admissions and deliver lectures that prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.
I hold a Master of Science (MSc) in Health Promotion and Communication from the University of Port Harcourt and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health Education from the University of Uyo (2008).
