My wife and I both worked in the banking industry before our retirement. I retired in 2006 and my wife in 2014. We consider that there are 2 basic issues which are important to happy retirement:

1) Health

2) Sufficient ongoing income to maintain our lifestyle.

Nine years ago, we joined a network marketing company and started our part time home-based business. It turned out that this small business provides an answer to the above two questions of happy retirement. Not only that, this "small business" can help anybody who wants to find a solution to the above two questions.

Along the way, we have helped people to start their own "small business". These people include our friends (warm market) and new business contacts (cold market).

Warm market - Many people are skeptical to "small business". Therefore, I usually do not approach my friends directly with our business. However, if I find that they are open-minded and their timings are right, I will invite them for a coffee chat and make a proposal for them to check out my "small business".

Cold market - both online and offline approaches are used. As this "small business" is global, automated and internet enabled, it is great for using internet to conduct business, training and promotion.
