Owen Hurter

Born in South Africa, Owen started in a christian rock band called Kenaniah. The band toured South Africa & Scotland, seeing thousands accept Jesus Christ.

In 1998, Owen attended the Toronto Airport School of Ministry. He was offered a job as a worship leader & guitarist for Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship. Owen met his gorgeous wife, Tonya and married her in May, 2000. They recorded their first CD "Color My World" with Mike Nowak in 2003. From October 2003 - January 2008, they served in churches as youth pastors and worship directors. Since July of 2005, Owen started traveling full-time ministering in music and teaching all over the east coast.

Owen's songs have been recorded by Kingsway Thankyou Music and are being distributed all over the world. He is also published with CCLI, EMI and Kingsway Thankyou Music. Owen's song, The Jesus Song has been recorded by Sue Rinaldi, Robert Critchley, The Hudson Taylors & others.

Owen has been involved in a number of recordings as a featured worship leader & guitarist such as Keep Coming Holy Spirit, Live From Toronto-Collection 2, Catch the Fire 6-9, Celebration, Stay, Beautiful Tapestry 1 & 2, This Is Life.
