Owolabi Olugbemi saka-rasaq

I’m Owolabi Saka-rasaq. I’m an Environmental Planner living in Helsinki, Finland. I studied law at Olabisi Onabanjo Universityand later forge ahead to D.S Adegbenro ICT polytechnic to study Business Administration and also earned Cisco Networking Academy Certification during the same year. I have the privilege to have worked in some notable firms in Nigeria such as Mikano Internation(a power generating Company) as an Inventory personnel before I moved to Thailand in the year 2013 to study International Business Management at Siam University Bangkok, where I was a founding Member and the first President of International student Mentor and Ambassador Program (ISAMP) a group well established to internationalised the local students and the school environment, and also create a good relationship between students and the Diplomatic commission in Thailand. I assisted and participated in the 32nd Inter-University Conference of the Association of the South-East Asian Institution of higher Learning as a researcher alongside two other students. I also made myself available to assist with University 2015 ASEAN Higher Institution Workshop as an instructor. With two other Co-students became the first International students to work as staff assistant at the University. I continued my education at Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences(Helsinki Metropolia Business School), Novia University of Applied Sciences Finland, to study Natural Resources and Environment (Sustainable Coastal Management) majored in Forestry and Environmental Planning.

I am a fan of entrepreneurship, livestock farming, blue economy. I worked as an intern at Swedish Environmental Research Institute (IVL) as a field expert focused on bivalves projects. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, listening to music, and video gaming. I’m also interested in politics and sports.

I started working as a production specialist at Swappie Oy, later worked as a Microsoldering Specialist 🔬 in the same company, a refurbished mainstream mobile tech company based in Helsinki, Finland.
