Pattern imprinted concrete is constructed by mass pouring concrete on to a suitable compacted base the concrete is then levelled using specialist tools followed by the application of a colour hardener that is 3 times stronger than the concrete itself the surface is then trowelled to a smooth finish before stamping a pattern using a rubber mat, this is a highly skilled process that is dependent on the operatives skill level stamping to early can result in a sloppy mess and stamping to late can result in no pattern.
