Emmanuel Oyelayo is a recent graduate of Biochemistrry from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, with a passion for combating Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and promoting public health. With a strong foundation in biochemistry and bioinformatics, Emmanuel has been actively involved in various initiatives and fellowships that align with his goals.

Notably, he was one of the 20 scientific researchers selected nationwide to participate in the Third Advanced Bioinformatics Workshop held at the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA). This prestigious opportunity further solidified his skills in bioinformatics and its application in addressing AMR. As a dedicated AMR Specialist and Scientific Researcher, he has been involved in various initiatives, including the AMR Intervarsity Training Program, where his team was awarded a grant of 700 Euros from the Foundation to Prevent Antibiotics Resistance, a Swedish-based organization. This grant enabled his team to tackle AMR awareness on campus and develop innovative solutions to address this global challenge. His leadership skills are evident in his roles as a Student Ambassador for Anutio, a Canadian-based company dedicated to removing barriers to career growth and success and as the president of a campus fellowship with over 500 students.
