Temiloluwa Oyeniyi is an Honorable Member of the Oyo State Youth Parliament, representing Egbeda State Constituency. She is a Fellow, Legislative Mentorship Initiative awarded by Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, CFR (Former Speaker, House of Representatives, and Chief of Staff, FRN); she is an Associate Chartered Public Administrator, a Personal Development Coach, and a Certified Community Development Expert with over 5 years of experience.
She was the former Personal Assistant to the Speaker, Nigerian Youth Parliament. She also became a coordinator of Seyi Makinde Campus Ambassadors and a member of the team for Seyi Makinde's re-election by the Director General.
She became a community organizer in April 2023, as awarded by the YIAGA Africa Community Organizing Institute.
She recently became a grantee of the Nigerian Youth Futures Funds (NYFF) on a project tagged “Media for Information Literacy.”
She is an award winning Journalist and a leader. She is an awardee of the TLA 30 Under 30 Award for Advocates in Africa in 2021 as a Gender Advocate and a nominee for the JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award in the Personal Achievement category. She became a certified gender-based violence advocate in 2021, awarded by the Hacey Health Initiative.
She is the author of an ebook titled "Letter To My Past"- a collection of people's letters written to their past. Temiloluwa is a prolific writer and researcher whose works have been published nationally and internationally.
In the field of journalism, she won 3 awards in a row in 2019. In 2020, she won an essay competition organized by African Students For Liberty, where she is now a local coordinator.
As part of her passion for personal development and community development, she has continued to volunteer for organizations like Hacey Health Initiative, Vincent Jason's Foundation, African Students For Liberty, the Independent Continental Youth Advisory Council of the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement, and Volunteers Hub Africa, amongst others.
Through her volunteerism, she has developed leadership skills, capacity building knowledge, storytelling skills, public speaking, project management, teamwork, and mobilization skills. She has been privileged to organize events to build capacity and has attended conferences and seminars. As an advocate, she believes that a freer future with equality and justice, promotes sustainable national development, and she intends to work towards it through her volunteerism.
