Oyo Effiom has 7 years of experience in the non -profit sector. He is a Life and Leadership coach and the founder of the Guru Foundation.

As the Executive Director of the Guru foundation, Oyo Effiom has provided students with affordable, professional, and educational support across Nigeria. Through his concern approach, collaboration, and Partnerships he has connected young African's to new opportunities, impact projects, and start-up ideation.

The Foundation he started 3 years ago is now in 10 countries across Africa.

Oyo Effiom is a 2019 Obama African Leader and has received an award Common-wealth Youth Council.

Oyo Effiom is the author of Teens Identity and the Inspiration. He is a mentor with Coca Cola and YALI - an Initiative of the US government.

Oyo Effiom has trained over 20,000 people on Leadership, business, and personal development.

He is the Founder of Calabar Soft Skill Academy, convener of Guru Session - the biggest Leadership event in Cross River State, Nigeria that is designed for mission-driven leaders, entrepreneurs, and change agents that wants to leave the world radically better than they met. Over 2000 participants attend the conference yearly.

He is a Board of Trustee member in many NGOs within and outside Nigeria.

He is a graduate of Biochemistry from the Cross River University of Technology and is currently running his Master's degree program in public health from the University of Calabar.

He is single and has an interest in Agriculture, Youth, Politics, Technology, and Africa.
