Hi, I'm the person behind Hauntales.

I've always been interested in strange stories and unexplained experiences. Not only stories about ghosts and haunted houses, but also the small and unusual things that happen in everyday life and leave people wondering what really happened.

A strange noise coming from an empty room. Someone seeing a person who shouldn't have been there. An old house with a story that nobody wants to talk about. Sometimes there is a simple explanation. Sometimes there isn't.

That curiosity is one of the reasons I created Hauntales.

Hauntales is a place for scary stories, unexplained encounters, mysterious events, dark facts, and old legends. I wanted to create a website where these stories could be shared in a simple and natural way, without making every experience sound like something from a horror movie.

Some stories are based on real experiences shared by people. Others come from old legends, historical events, or mysteries that have been discussed for many years. I enjoy looking at both sides because real experiences and old stories can be interesting in very different ways.

I also don't think every strange experience needs a supernatural explanation. There are times when fear, coincidence, or something we don't understand can make an ordinary situation feel completely different. Sometimes not knowing exactly what happened is what makes a story memorable.

My goal with Hauntales is simple. I want to collect and share stories that make you curious, give you chills, or make you look at familiar places a little differently.
