I am a journalist in New York City currently writing trendy news for Fashion Times’ Design & Trend site. My experience there has gotten me well-acquainted with the AP Style of journalism and the inverted pyramid style of news writing. I have written over 500 articles for the site.

In 2013, I was an editorial intern at Thrillist Media Group. I wrote and pitched 100-150 word pieces on apparel and technology. I essentially learned how to write good copy, great headlines, and how to effectively condense heavy information into 100-150 words.

I also wrote for a non-profit organization, called Herstory Writer’s Workshop, which stood against domestic violence towards women. One of my works, “Page One Moment”, was read at their yearly gala at Stony Brook University.

I am currently a junior English major at SUNY College at Old Westbury.
