Phil Andrews is the President of the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and President Emeritus of the Black Public Relations Society-New York. Phil Andrews is the Founding President of the 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. and New York City Minority Small Business Chamber of Commerce, Inc.
The “100” advocates for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in all aspects of society. Our focus is to bring together a variety of men from diverse backgrounds who are committed to the community, and have exemplified excellence in their spheres of influence.

The 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. is a membership-based organization.ressing health disparities and creating positive mentoring relationships.
He is also the Founding President of the African American Small Business Foundation.
About: African American Small Business Foundation – The African American Chamber Small Business Foundation, Inc. services the minority community in counties of Downstate, New York which includes N.Y.C., Long Island, and the downstate counties of Duchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester.
The foundation provides Financial Literacy Training, Entrepreneurial Training, financial literacy, access to capital, workforce development, advocacy, chamber development, economic community empowerment, facilitate workshops and panels, and small business counseling services. The foundation supports the programs and activities of the Long L.I. American Chamber of Commerce, Inc.
In 2025 the African American Small Business Foundation, Inc. launched it year-round giving campaign to raise funds to Empower the community.

In 1995 and 1998, Mr. Andrews' excellence in his field garnered the Small Business Per son of the Year award by two branches of the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce (Roosevelt and West Indian Chambers, respectively).
In 2021 Long Island Business News selected Mr. Andrews as Hall of Fame Inductee which led to a permanent placement of a plaque on the wall at Hofstra's Zarb School of Business.
Long Island Business News has selected Phil Andrews, President of Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. as a 2025 Icon Honors recipient.
Icon Honors recognizes Long Island business leaders, over the age of 60, for their notable success and demonstration of strong leadership within and outside their fields.
The honorees have moved their businesses and Long Island forward by growing jobs and making a difference in the community.
To be eligible for Icon Honors, honorees must have a long-standing commitment to the Long Island business community. Honorees must also have a sustained dedication to community service and mentoring.
They may be in the workforce (or retired) and must hold (or have held) senior management-level positions with significant authority in decision-making for their organization. The winners were selected by the editors of Long Island Business News.
He is also featured in "15 Years of Minority Business Development" a book published by Mr. Robert Adams. Mr. Andrews is listed in Who's Who in Black America and International Who's.
