I have been a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ for as long as I can remember. Indeed there has never been a moment when I suddenly believed.
There is one aspect of the life of a believer that is very important and that is their willingness to open themselves up to the work of the Holy Spirit so that He might do a work in their life. I praise God my relationship with Him has become very intimate, because I have willingly surrendered myself to Him in total submission.
Leaving the Royal Navy August 1969 at 30, no job really interested me until in 1984 I became a Technical Author, almost by default. It was God's doing. Suddenly I had a job I was not only naturally good at, but thoroughly enjoyed.
God challenged me about visiting men in prison. In 1990 I became a Home Office approved official prison visitor.
In prison I befriended a Jew who had become a Christian, and I was able to help him get back into society when he was released. Through that friendship I was challenged to write on scripture, and through his rabbinic brother I was asked to write on Moses' Tent of the Meeting which was self-published in 2011 and Aaron described as awesome. I now have 13 books available through Amazon.
It all came clear. God had led me from one job to another in order for me to be in the right place at the right time to become a Technical Author. That gave me enough experience to start writing on His word. See my book 'A Tale of Three Men' on Amazon for the full story.
At 72 I retired from work, but I still visit the prison and support a few men who have been released. I also continue to write and encourage others to reach out to God, to trust Him completely and serve Him.
Thank you Lord for guiding me throughout my life.
