Yes, it’s my job title, but I’m a product marketer at heart. I live and breathe technology – especially mobile. I’m well versed in hardware and software, building upon a strong background in engineering. In addition to being a lover of all things mobile, I’m a shopaholic and my kryptonite is shoes. My love of shopping coupled with marketing experience enables me to think like a consumer. Ultimately, it is my lifelong coexistence in these seemingly contrasting worlds - technology and consumers - that makes me a natural product marketer, fluently translating one language into another.

As Senior Product Marketing Manager at Samsung Mobile, I’m responsible for positioning Samsung’s emerging devices portfolio in the US market. I strategically position several product categories spanning multiple iconic product launches per year.

In the past decade, I’ve worn many different hats (even a pink hard hat!) – Marketer, strategist, product manager, writer, analyst, researcher, and engineer. I find great joy in my work, and dive confidently and calmly into whatever challenge is sent my way. I have big ideas, and stay awake at night contemplating how to best bring them to fruition. What good is a big idea if you can’t move them forward and execute?

Prior to my role at Samsung, I held a position in Product Planning at Bose Corporation where I leveraged my technical background to help fill the gap between core technologies and the end consumer. Earlier in my career, I held positions focused on product design, as a mechanical engineer and later, product development and technology commercialization, working to pull an early-stage technology out of the laboratory and streamline it into the market.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester and a Master of Science in Engineering and Innovation Management from Brown University in Rhode Island. I also have a Master of Business Administration with a focus on entrepreneurship and marketing high tech products from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.

I love to explore the world, shop for clothes, cook gluten free food, and watch terrible teen movies.
