My real estate experience consists of purchasing, renting, managing, and selling homes. I own commercial property, other land, and my own home.
Born and raised in a border town in Southwest Texas. I learned to supported myself financially from a very young age.
Building relationships and partnerships in town to trade and work as I went to school.
After high school, I joined the US Navy and was honorably discharged after my successful service in Desert Storm.
I used my GI Bill to pursue a bachelor’s degree in finance at Texas A&M International University in Laredo Texas. I went to school while I worked at various sales and management level jobs in town; Veterans Affairs, Foot Action USA, Delphi Automotive Systems, and Chromalox Inc.
These jobs gained me substantive experience in sales, customer service, operations and management. My tenure as a Customer Logistics Manager with Delphi Automotive Systems went from from 1995 until 2002. Then, I joined Chromalox to manage their distribution center in Laredo until 2004, that is when I moved back home to Del Rio Texas.
I moved to Del Rio to help my parents financially and with some property litigation issues. In the meantime, I started a mayor appliance refurbishing business with my dad in town. And, I also Managed the local Hertz car rental business up until 2008. I did very well in my business after the housing bubble burst and for several years after, until legislation pushed me out of business with their alternative energy reform programs.
Then, in 2011 I got my CDL and went to drive for the oil field that was booming in West Texas. Consequently, I learned to operate sophisticated Pump Trucks, and that got me the job that brought me to San Angelo.
Throughout my oil field experience, I knew that historically there are booms and busts in the oil field. Therefore, I saved, studied, prepared and passed my real estate exam, and by the time the oil bust hit us full force, I was a REALTOR with San Angelo Real Estate. Best decision ever!
Now I am blessed to be part of San Angelo Real Estate, with over 50 years of experience servicing San Angelo, they truly excel in tenure. I have all the support I could possibly use, and it is now my duty to pay it forward. And, with great enthusiasm, I look forward to helping those with home ownership aspirations and real estate investments.
