A graduate of the Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine, Dr. Pace is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Medical Specialties. After completing his postgraduate training in Illinois, he returned to Washington to give back to his community. He belongs to multiple medical organizations in his field and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
