It's true, my wife is included in this picture...For all of my aspirations, hopes and goals would mean nothing if it were not for my relationship with here. She made me a husband, allowed me to become a man, made me a father and supports me as a pastor and academic.

I am a theologian who specifically studies and believes in the Christian faith, but my interests span several different faith backgrounds, including: Judaism, Islam, Mormonism and I hope to begin my studies in Buddism.

I am a writer, with one book, a few articles published and a blog. With blogs anyone can write, but mine are usually worth reading.

I am a pastor. Compassion drives me. I love sharing time with others, helping those in need and learning how to be in solidarity with my fellow humans, no matter race, class, or moral convictions.

I love to bike (both moutnain and road), I hike, swim, run, climb when I have time, cook and drink really good beverages. I have been an active barista for more than half my life and will be buried with a tamp in my hand.

I live on the Western Slope of Colorado and plan to stay here as long as possible. There is something magnificent about Rocky Mountain air, it enlivens me. I can think o fno other place I would rather live than where I am at.
