Paeca Hallett
Project Manager, Consultant, and Writer in Spokane, Washington
Driven Operations Leader, Customer Experience, Strategic Projects, Service, Higher Education, Military and Insurance - A strong blend of many industries provides me with a unique perspective on business.
Team player and partnership builder, with strong customer relationship skills. Spent my early days in the military nurturing the “can-do” spirit, gritty resolve and determination that only the military can foster. I learned the ability to work well with everyone who came my way…and there was some serious diversity…and build some incredible teams. Calm in the face of crisis, people enjoy my calm style and my ability to “keep all the balls in the air.”
Worked in some intense and challenging positions; with C- suite executives and founders, many other key stakeholders of internal departments and external clients, yet still managed to carve out time for rich personal interests in travel, non-profit volunteering and lifelong learning.
Known for my practical style, resolve, exceptional cross-departmental communication & unique problem-solving facilitation. I’m the go-to person for managing delicate customer relationships with brand-sensitive vendors, gaining buy-in from internal stakeholders, and juggling multiple & competing priorities – all while staying focused on the prize.
When asked why I’m unique in Operations, I refer to the words of those with whom I’ve worked who point out my how strong I am in process improvement, workflows and my solid analysis of business.
With a strong interest in the organizational - human factors - side of management and proven skills in aligning people and behaviors with company culture and values, I completed a master’s degree in health and wellness coaching, using those skills to inspire project team innovation, communication and productivity. I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility such as project leadership, partner negotiations, and customer success.
Interestingly, my early career started with 10 years in higher education, being involved with universities to provide their marketing, recruiting, admissions and student retention services. When my team was laid off I used the opportunity to complete additional education and polished my management skills. After all that, I broke into the insurance business, increasing my client-facing success acumen.
All that is how I have morphed from operations to front end client servicing.
