Paekakariki Surf Lifeguards

Paekakariki is on the West Coast of the North Island of New Zealand, about a 40 minute drive from Central Wellington. We patrol Paekakariki Beach from November through March; conducting patrols on both Saturdays and Sundays. We have a large active membership of junior surf (7-13 years) and senior members (14 years+) and offer competitive training squads for surf sports. We have a proud history as a patrolling club and it is a set requirement that every member perform patrol duties before they can compete in interclub Surf Sports.

In February 2013 the club turned the grand old age of 100.
