Paige McFarland

Hello! My name is Paige McFarland and I am a current graduate student at Full Sail University. I am working on a Master's Degree in New Media Journalism. This degree is a blend of a few different media services, and I am excited to be learning so many different areas. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in 2017 from Rollins College. There I major in International Politics and developed a love of writing, and fighting for causes I believe in. I learned how words can be profoundly powerful, and can move people in ways I never imaged. After touring many graduate programs in my area, I decided that Full Sail University’s Master of Arts in New Media Journalism was the best fit for me. It offers a unique blend of writing, but also the marketing and public relations side behind the scenes. I want to blend my love of politics and international relations with the United States and the rest of the world into a bridge that creates a better future for the next generation. My website represents a focus on mental health in relation with many different current events. Mental health is one of the most underlying struggles on the world. I believe with proper light shown on normal issues, we could spare the world and the people in it a lot of hard ships. In my spare time I play on a local adult soccer league, I have been playing since I was 5 years old! I love traveling in my travel trailer with my girlfriend, Madeline, our little pug, Wolfgang, and our cat, Echo.
