I am an Art History major, student adviser, and a Mom of 2. I traveled much of Europe during my undergrad, where I posted up in Florence, Italy for approximately 14 months, studying the art of the Renaissance.

I am strongly considering undertaking a Master's of Library and Information Science degree to hopefully use in a museum upon completion. I work as a full-time adviser while providing Tier 1 tech support to online students in a call center environment. The master's program will likely take me 2.5 years since I will be a part-time student. I also am eligible for some tuition reimbursement from my job, so that is a plus!

I came to this site hoping to network with professionals who have made their careers in academia, library science, and from museum studies degrees. Any insight, especially into career trajectory, would be greatly appreciated.
