A little about me . . .

My name is P.A. Jean. I am a writer. I like to focus on Fantasy fiction for young adults and currently working on my debut novel.

I like to incorporate fantasy and events that may or may not have happened in real life.

Stories that have inspired me as I was growing up are Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, Frankenstein, Wrinkle in Time, and the works of Edgar Allen Poe.

I'm from a place that's sunny with clouds and occasional rainbows. I haven't found any leprechauns yet, or a pot of gold for that matter, but I do keep my fingers crossed.

I'm notoriously shy, and I am not fond of flashes of light, so I prefer staying in the shadows. Besides, I believe everyone looks better in dim lighting. Don't you agree?

Science has always intrigued me. I've got a degree under my belt, which I can whip out when I'm stuck in a medical conundrum. You never know how often that happens.

Comics and superheroes have always entertained me. Secretly, I believe I am one, minus the power and the cape.

I love art and creating things of all sorts.

I love reading things that inspire and I hope to inspire others with quotes of my own. It keeps me grounded and as reminds me that we're all temporary guests.

I am a fan of reading, arts, and movies. I’m also interested in music, particularly instrumental soundtracks from films. I like to write while listening to the music in the background.

When I read, I often catch myself speaking with a British accent. Please, don't ask me why.

I am a perfectionist.

I'm also a night owl. Unfortunately, I'm still unable to revolve my head around, although, it's still a work in progress.

Can you keep a secret?

Okay, I think I can trust you. I am on a secret mission to find a cure that unlocks many cures. And I am hoping, someday that the book I am working on will open doors and possibilities. . .and give it that extra nudge. Phew, I said it. One can only hope, right?
