Pakmen Volleyball Club

The Pakmen Volleyball Club, established in 2002, is a youth volleyball club, and is the only volleyball club in the GTA accredited with the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) and Volleyball Canada. They are a not-for-profit youth club offering high quality volleyball leagues and a variety of skill development volleyball programs for boys and girls 6 to 18 years. Volunteer driven, this not-for-profit organization is partially funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Pakmen is Canada's largest and most diverse youth volleyball club, with players and staff from all socio-economic, ethnic and cultural groups, as well as players and staff with special needs. Their leagues include a girls’ volleyball development league (house league volleyball), a co-ed volleyball league (champion’s league), a high performance girls volleyball league (GTA Premier League) and a high performance boys volleyball league (Pakmen Plus).

The club is based in Mississauga and Brampton with a significant number of members living in the Oakville, Milton and Etobicoke communities. Their mission is to offer a full range of programs and opportunities for youth of all skill levels. All their players, no matter their skill level, receive high level quality instruction from Pakmen’s NCCP certified volleyball coaches. The instructors are excellent teachers who know how to motivate young people. The club strives to reach out to those who traditionally do not play volleyball at club level.

Pakmen’s skill development volleyball programs include a learn-to-play kids volleyball program (Spikes), volleyball lessons (Technique Tutoring and Private Lessons), and advanced volleyball training (Gettin' Better). They also offer beach volleyball and summer volleyball camps.
