Pam Anderson

I am a Marketing and Communications student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am a senior in Isenberg School of Management and will be graduating this coming May. I have a passion for learning, marketing, equality, social justice, and individual expression.

My education has been focused on the study of marketing and media studies. I have taken a wide range of courses including nonprofit marketing, international marketing, and management communications. I spent a summer studying business abroad in Barcelona, Spain and expanded my knowledge of other cultures.

I have a strong background and interest in social justice and activist work. I am the Vice President of my University's Pride Alliance and spend much of my time educating others on the LGBTQIA community and advocating for equality. I am a member of the Stone Wall Center's Speakers Bureau and speak to university students about LGBTQIA identity and inspire participation in activist movements. I also advocate for women's rights and work to prevent violence against women. All people regardless of gender, race, class, age, or sexual orientation deserve equal treatment.

My overall goal is to combine my business knowledge and passion for social justice to create change and inspire diversity.
