Pam Northrup

Pam Northrup has close to three decades of experience working in public higher education. Over her career, Pam Northrup has held both faculty and executive roles.
In her most recent position, Dr. Northrup oversaw the creation of an innovation model that focused on human-centered design and design thinking. She also had a hand in introducing programs, including one that supported adults as they pursued a university degree. Alongside these programs, Pam Northup oversaw the launch of a distance learning center and a veterans' resource center.
In 2019, she established a higher education consulting firm, through which she offers services focused on innovation in the sector, alongside micro-credentialing and online learning. She is also working on a book focused on accelerating learning in higher education.
In addition to a doctorate in educational media and instructional systems, Dr. Northrup holds a bachelor of science in elementary education and a master’s degree in instructional systems. She also regularly attends various industry events, such as those hosted by the ASU/GSV Summit.
