My name is Pete Amaro and I'm originally from west Texas, a small-town outside of Abilene TX, called Ballinger TX, I grew up here and lived here for most of my life. I also have lived in several other places, Arizona, Colorado, California, New York, Florida and all over Texas. When I graduated high school, I just wanted to travel and work independent IT jobs, it was a great experience. I moved to the DFW area in 2009 and have lived in Dallas, Richardson and now I am currently in Garland. I have been in Garland for 3 years, we have 2 dogs, Tex, an English Bulldog and Molly, a miniature dachshund. We also have 3 cats and are currently working on having children. I have worked at my current job for 2 years, going on 3, the company does in car and body cameras for police officers. I work in the Tier 2 department and handle servers, installing software, network issues and advanced troubleshooting, I have worked with computers since I was 12 years old and love what I do every day, I am a transfer student from ITT Tech, once the school closed in December, I was able to come to UNT and I’m going to finish my Bachelor 's degree and have about a year and a half left. Once I receive my degree, I will have a more elevated role at my current job.
